WINNING TEAMS AT BATTLE OF THE BEACH PRESENTED BY MILLER
LITE GOLF TOURNAMENT
ADVANCE TO CHAMPIONSHIP SHOOTOUT
Teams Receive All-Expenses-Paid Trip To Tunica, Mississippi
February 9, 2005, Myrtle Beach, S.C. — Signature
Golf Group, LLC is pleased to announce the results from
the Battle of the Beach Presented by Miller Lite. Yahnis
Distributors, Prestwick Country Club and Indigo Creek
Golf Club will be sending the top three teams from the
2005 Battle of the Beach Presented by Miller Lite golf
tournament on an all-expenses-paid trip to Tunica, Miss.,
for the Championship Shootout at River Bend Links.
Advancing to the finals will be the Dead Dog Saloon
team which had a combined score of 120; the T-Bones
team (Murrells Inlet) which had a combined score of
121; and the Sun Cruz Casinos team which had a combined
score of 123. The championship shootout will determine
who is the Best on the Beach.
The first place team will be awarded a trophy to be
displayed in their place of business until the 2006
Battle of the Beach Presented tournament, and each team
member will each receive a set of Wilson irons. The
second place team members will each receive a Wilson
golf bag. Each of the three teams were awarded plaques
to display at their business.
The tournament took place at Prestwick Country Club
in Myrtle Beach and Indigo Creek Golf Club in Murrells
Inlet, on February 2 and 3, 2005. Several bars and restaurants
throughout the Grand Strand sent teams, including Handleys
Pub, Rockafellers Raw Bar, Caddyshack, Logan’s
Roadhouse, and Villa Romana.
