Steve Taylor has more than 30 years of experience in executive management, financial management, golf operations and marketing. As president of Signature Golf Group, he manages the day-to-day business of the company.
A PGA Professional for nearly three decades, Taylor was President, Chief Financial Officer of TSC Golf, Inc., which merged with Blythe Golf Group in 2004 to form Signature Golf Group.
Prior to the launch of TSC, Taylor completed a distinguished career in the United States Air Force. An expert in personnel and financial management, Taylor brings strong leadership, accountability and fiscal responsibility to Signature Golf and each of its clients. Taylor’s 15 years of PGA experience include serving as General Manager at Wicked Stick Golf Links, Director of Golf for Deer Track Golf Resort; and construction oversight experience at Diamond Back Golf Club and Cannon Ridge Golf Club. He has worked closely with PGA TOUR Champion John Daly, PGA Tour Commissioner Deane Beman, and architects Clyde Johnston, Bobby Weed, and Russell Breedon on design and construction.
Taylor’s expertise includes golf course design, construction, maintenance and financial management. He is known for his creative approach to crafting solutions to clients’ business challenges, and he is a golf course owner and a partner in Wicked Stick, Diamond Back and Indigo Creek.
Taylor is a native of Wichita, Kan. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Interamerican University of Puerto Rico and a Master of Arts in Personnel Administration from Central Michigan University. In addition he holds an Associate of Arts in Turf Grass Management from Horry Georgetown Technical College in Conway, S.C. He resides in Surfside Beach, S.C with his wife Diana. |
